Lauren & Peter met working at a restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles back in 2012. They quickly discovered a mutual love for food and hospitality … as well as one another! They married in 2014, and Wax Paper was born in 2015. With a collective 30+ years in the restaurant industry, Lauren & Peter have taken their unique knowledge and experiences and shaped their goals and values into healthy and happy kitchens, dining rooms, and workplaces. They grew from a team of two into two locations when they opened Wax Paper Chinatown, and have since grown into an amazing team of 12. You can find them in or around one or the other shops nearly every day.
